Our story

A mother-daughter brand inspired
by one tiny pom-pom and the
woman who started it all.

My mom Jane has always been the kind of person who figures things out herself. She can sew anything, fix anything, and somehow always make life feel a little more thoughtful and fun.

Years ago, she started sewing pom-poms onto the backs of her ankle socks because she hated when they slipped down into her shoes while she was being active.

It worked! And somewhere along the way, the pom-poms became part of her.

If you know my mom, you know she’s practical, hilarious, creative, nostalgic, and just a little extra in all the best possible ways.

After posting a video about her socks on TikTok (even though she told me not to) thousands of people connected with the idea immediately. Some people remembered wearing socks like these growing up. Others simply loved how happy and personal it felt, especially with her New York accent.

So for Mother’s Day, I decided to surprise her by secretly building the brand she never knew she has.

Pom Mom was created to celebrate the little things that make life better: socks that stay put, details that make people smile, and moms who quietly make magic out of everyday life.
